GlobeSat provides voice and video transmission via satellite. The network connection can be either point-to-point or point-to-multipoint with bandwidth ranging from 64 Kbps to 45 Mbps.

1. Simplex is one-way transmission. This is suitable for broadcasting programs such as radio broadcasting and long-distance education programs.
2. Duplex is two-way transmission. Each terminal station can intercommunicate with each other with no need of HUB station. This is suitable for the following usages;

- Emergency Communication System
- Data Communication System With high congested traffic
