    CAT provides data communication services with countrywide coverage. For remote areas where landlines are not reachable, customer may consider our satellite services. CAT also offers OSS (One Stop Service) international data communication with many global partners.

    It might due to congested bandwidth usage or crowded users at the time. Another possible cause is that LAN is attacked by virus resulting in slow traffic. In addition, speed of the service plays an important role for how fast your traffic could go.

    What are things I need to consider for choosing the right datacom solution for my business?
    Private network supports various applications namely voice, data, video or multimedia. When choosing the datacom solution, you can basically look for the following.
    - Quality, efficiency, resilience and security of the network. Different services have different features and types of service.
    - Sufficient speed to support different applications.
    - Organizational requirement such as type of connectivity, IP address management, routing protocol, QoS, etc.

    I have 4 office branches and I want all of them to be visible to each other on the same LAN whereas up-speed or down-speed is easily enabled. What service would you recommend?
    According to the above requirement, we would recommend that you choose either
    1. CAT Ethernet
    2. CAT MPLS
    These services enable multiple points of connection to be visible to each other as they are set to be on a virtual LAN. However, there are significant differences between the two.
    CAT Ethernet – Users can set IP address on the LAN by themselves as it is a layer 2 service.
    CAT MPLS – CAT MPLS is a layer 3 service; therefore, IP address must be set by service provider (CAT).
